Our Commitment to Small Business Education
We believe every business owner deserves to understand their finances, regardless of their educational background or access to technology.
Accessible to Everyone
We design our program for people who may have limited formal education and no access to computers or smartphones. If you can write and use a basic calculator, you can learn our methods.
We never assume prior knowledge. Every workshop starts from the beginning, building skills step by step. We use plain language and avoid technical jargon that creates barriers to understanding.
Our commitment is to remove every obstacle between you and the financial knowledge you need to run your business confidently.
Practical Above All
We test every method we teach with real business owners before including it in our workshops. If something doesn't work in the daily reality of running a market stall or small shop, we don't teach it.
You won't learn theoretical accounting principles. You'll learn how to create a system that takes five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the evening, using a notebook and pen you already own.
Our commitment is to teach only what you can actually use, maintain, and benefit from in your specific business situation.
Culturally Appropriate
We understand that business practices in Paraguay have their own context and logic. Our program respects how things actually work in markets, on streets, and in small neighborhood shops.
Teaching in both Guaraní and Spanish isn't just about translation—it's about delivering education in the language where you think about your business. Our instructors understand the cultural nuances of small business in Paraguay.
We adapt examples and scenarios to reflect the real situations you face, from seasonal variations in customer traffic to the informal credit systems common in community commerce.
What We Don't Do
Being clear about our limitations is part of our commitment to honesty.
Tax Preparation
We are not accountants and we do not prepare tax declarations or official financial statements. Our program teaches you to understand your business finances for your own decision-making.
Software Training
We don't teach accounting software or spreadsheet programs. Our methods work with paper and pen because we know that's what's actually sustainable for most small businesses in our communities.
Business Consulting
We provide education, not consulting services. We teach you methods and skills, but we don't analyze your specific business or give individual business advice outside the workshop context.
Our Educational Philosophy
Understanding Over Memorization
We don't ask you to memorize formulas or follow rigid procedures. We help you understand the logic behind tracking your money so you can adapt the methods to your specific situation.
When you understand why you're recording certain information and how it helps you make decisions, you're more likely to maintain the habit. The goal isn't perfect bookkeeping—it's having the information you need when you need it.
Practice During Workshops
Every workshop session includes time to practice with your own business numbers. You'll start your actual business notebook during the first session and bring it back for review in subsequent sessions.
This hands-on approach means you leave the workshop with a system already in motion, not just theoretical knowledge you need to implement later.
